Description
Ultra versatile kids board with a classic camber, it is not too wide at the waist to facilitate turns with a featherweight & an ultra soft flex. A solid poplar construction to enjoy above all.
Obviously on the slopes we thought of all the little details necessary for the progression of a Mini Stoner. Olivier, a qualified Snowboard instructor in Switzerland & Founder of Stone has 2 children, the oldest is 6 years old, it seemed obvious for him to focus on a board tailor-made for his progression.
Whether for his son or all the children of the Stone Family, a joyful decoration was also needed. That's when he called on the Australian artist "MULGA", in 2 shakes of a lamb's tail the idea of creating a board focused on animals & the joy was unanimous. What a decorative object if you hang it on a wall while waiting for the snow to fall! It's magnificent, the colors are really superb.

What is meant by flex?
This is the way a board tends to twist. At Stone we evaluate it from 0 to 10. The stiffer a board is, the more it is designed to send & less forgive. Conversely, the softer a board is, the less responsive it will be when relaunching but will forgive you certain mistakes. Let's explain: at the start, the softer a board is, the more over the sessions the board will become a real uncooked sausage. At Stone we consider that riding a board that is a little stiff at the start is really optimal. Why? The core of a board is always made over the days, weeks, months that you ride your board. At Stone, a Flex 7 is considered a good alternative to go everywhere. We will then gravitate between 5 & 8 to lean more or less towards a particular desire as regards the flex.
Flex 5: This is the ideal flex for our young children. It is important for them to have a responsive and fun board. Due to their growing morphology, they do not need a flex like the parents. The goal is to allow them to start to get sensations and to progress well at their pace.
Use
FREESTYLE
Whether you start young or old, we all want to do jumps. Snowboarding is fun, it's rock n' roll. This sport is the antithesis of the ski pole. The goal of any snowboarder is to go over any terrain & jump. Everyone knows how to jump in their own way, small or big jumps. Go through a snowpark & slide on a handrail. The most important thing is the pleasure you will have in doing it. A freestyle snowboard is centered on its inserts. Twin tip. With a twin tip snowboard you can go everywhere with a preference for the snowpark & the slope. Generally more flexible, you will be able to handle your snowboard without any physical suffering. You will be able to do freeride, obviously it will not be the ultimate weapon for doing big slopes & big powder. With your feet centered, your legs will be hot! Don't worry, you will get to the bottom and go back up. You have understood that this type of board is more typical of the classic practice of snowboarding, if you want to push the thing, you will have to add other types of boards to your quiver. The chance you will have is that we offer all the types of snowboards that a rider can look for.
PARK
A park snowboard is an easy board, which can handle the multitude of slides & allows you to deform many times without flinching when landing jumps. You will go everywhere, feel comfortable on many terrains. However, a park board will not allow you to ride easily in very powdery & steep places. For this it is preferable to have the right board. You will get there but it will not be optimal, just like if you took a freeride board to do freestyle. Generally more flexible than other boards & twin tip (centered on the inserts), the freestyle board is easy to ride. This is the key word for this board. If you are looking for a snowboard to progress or improve & do jumps you are knocking on the right door.
