Who are we
For Patrice Héroux-Mailhot, the creation of Stone Snowboards Canada marks the fulfillment of a dream. Born to parents who were physical education teachers, he grew up in a small sports shop adjacent to his family home. Patrice worked in the family business for many years. While studying geodesy, he also worked in several large specialty sports stores in Quebec City and Chicoutimi.
With 10 years of experience as a snowboard instructor in various ski resorts in Quebec and in ski/snow clubs, Patrice became a physical education teacher in Outaouais. Today, he manages a ski/snow club within his school, supervising between 80 and 100 students each year.
Passionate about the European brand Stone Snowboards , Patrice was seduced by its organic and customer-centric business model, offering quality products at prices much more accessible than those of the big popular brands. He therefore decided, with the online store Verti Call and in collaboration with the parent company in France, to introduce these products to Canada.
By launching Stone Snowboards Canada, Patrice managed to unite his different passions: sports, customer consulting, management, and education. Thus, the Stone Snowboards Canada adventure began.

What is our motivation? To offer quality products at the best price. Tired of always paying high prices for durable items, we discovered Stone Snowboards in Europe. This company stands out for its very competitive prices thanks to its direct business model from factory to customer. This ensures superior quality at prices much lower than those of the big brands.
Convinced by their approach, we contacted the parent company in Europe and together with the Verti Call online store, decided to offer these products here in Canada. It is not an easy task: we have to manage overseas shipping, freight, customs brokerage, and many other logistical challenges. All these tasks that most businessmen are reluctant to face... Imagine when it comes to snowboarders!
Our passion is to share our expertise in snowboarding, splitboarding and everything related. We know our equipment inside out, because we use it, study it and compare it with care.
