Who is Stone Snowboards Canada?
For Patrice Héroux-Mailhot, the creation of Stone Snowboards Canada marks the fulfillment of a dream. Born to parents who were physical education teachers, he grew up in a small sporting goods store next to his family home. Patrice worked in the family business for many years. While studying geodesy, he also worked in several large specialty sporting goods stores in Quebec City and Chicoutimi.
With 10 years of experience as a snowboard instructor at various ski resorts and ski/snowboard clubs in Quebec, Patrice became a physical education teacher in the Outaouais region. He now manages a ski/snowboard club at his school, coaching between 80 and 100 students each year.
Passionate about the European brand Stone Snowboards , Patrice was drawn to its organic, customer-centric business model, offering quality products at prices far more accessible than those of major popular brands. He therefore decided, through the online store Verti Call and in collaboration with the parent company in France, to introduce these products to Canada.
By launching Stone Snowboards Canada, Patrice successfully combined his various passions: sports, customer service, management, and education. Thus began the Stone Snowboards Canada adventure.

What motivates us? To offer quality products at the best price. Tired of always paying top dollar for durable goods, we discovered Stone Snowboards in Europe. This company stands out for its highly competitive prices thanks to its direct-from-factory-to-customer business model. This ensures superior quality at prices significantly lower than those of major brands.
Convinced by their approach, we contacted the parent company in Europe and, together with the online store Verti Call , decided to offer these products here in Canada. It's not an easy task: we have to manage overseas shipping, freight, customs brokerage, and many other logistical challenges. All those tasks that most businesspeople balk at... Imagine when it comes to snowboarders!
Our passion is sharing our expertise in snowboarding, splitboards, and everything related to them. We know our equipment inside and out because we use it, study it, and compare it carefully.
During Covid we finished as the French leader in splitboarding.
Staying true to ourselves is the power of our passion. The Stone Snowboards brand is French. Our products are now available in Canada, and we're proud of it!
