Splitboard Forest Split

The Forest is an All Mountain / Freeride splitboard with traditional camber, featuring a 2 cm setback, designed to offer an excellent balance of stability, responsiveness, and versatility, both on the ascent and the descent.

A major new feature this year: the Forest incorporates Floorboard technology, which improves stiffness and the connection between the two halves of the splitboard for a more solid and precise feel underfoot.

Its construction combines a Paulownia/Poplar core, a biaxial fiber topsheet, an IS7200 black base, and carbon reinforcement for greater precision, dynamism, and responsiveness in all conditions.

Winner of multiple awards from Ski Rando Mag, the Forest has also won the “Best Freestyle Backcountry” award from Splitboard Mag, highlighting its versatility and excellent performance both uphill and downhill.

The Forest comes with Stone aluminum clips and hooks.

Planche splitboard Stone Forest

More beautiful and higher performing than ever, the Forest is back in full force this winter. Every year, it collects awards and praise from testers, but above all, it remains a big favorite of the Stone Family.

The Forest is an All Mountain / Freeride splitboard with a 2 cm rear foot setback. It is perfect for jumps, powder, and riding switch easily, regardless of the terrain.

Its shape and traditional camber offer familiar, accessible, and ultra-versatile sensations. Whether riding easy terrain or tackling more committed lines, the Forest adapts to practically any condition.

This year, the Forest incorporates Floorboard technology. The sensation of having a real snowboard under your feet has never been closer. Floorboard consists of a metal tongue integrated into one half of the splitboard that inserts into the other, in order to stiffen the assembly and reduce play between the two parts. The result: a more solid, precise, and natural feel underfoot.

The design was created by Simon Rivière, and we love its style! He had already designed the Forest last year and returns this year with a new version that is just as successful.

Because riding high-performance equipment is essential. But if it looks great too, why hold back?

Construction

As always at Stone, this splitboard benefits from a robust and carefully thought-out construction to offer an excellent balance of fun, responsiveness, and comfort, even after long days in the mountains.

Its Paulownia/Poplar core gives it a playful character and excellent responsiveness. The matte biaxial fiber topsheet also helps keep the board enjoyable and lively, even after several hours of riding.

The IS7200 black base, which is both durable and easy to repair, allows you to get back on the mountain quickly after an encounter with a rock. A carbon reinforcement along the entire length of each ski improves pop, fluidity, and the dynamism of the splitboard.

The biaxial fiber construction provides just the right amount of flexibility to keep your legs fresh over time, while the general stiffness of the split is adjusted through precise work on the core thickness.

The Forest is equipped with Stone aluminum clips and hooks, color-matched to the model. It is available alone or in a pack, with at minimum its custom-cut skins.

All these construction choices, combined with European manufacturing, make the Forest a high-performance, reliable, and extremely versatile splitboard, capable of following you anywhere in the mountains.
