Snowboard bindings are a key part of your snowboarding gear, so at Stone Snowboards Canada, we also offer snowboard bundles that include bindings and a board to enhance your riding experience without any hassle.

Don’t forget to take the time to properly adjust your bindings and maintain them regularly. We recommend keeping a small screwdriver in your bag so you can tighten your bindings from time to time. Get ready for some great riding by choosing our bindings, which will help you push your limits on the snowy slopes!

Are Stone Snowboards Canada snowboard bindings compatible with other snowboards?

Stone Snowboards Canada’s snowboards are designed with a 2x4 insert system. The “2” refers to the vertical distance between the insert holes (2 cm). The “4” refers to the 4 cm horizontal spacing between the two rows of insert holes. The 2x4 insert is recognizable by its two rows of six mounting holes (12 in total). This insert is the most common on the market. Our snowboard bindings are therefore designed for this insert system. As a result, if your board has the 2x4 insert system, Stone Snowboards Canada bindings will be compatible with your board. If your snowboard has the Channel system (a rail running the entire length of the board), our bindings can also be mounted on this type of snowboard thanks to the two holes on the binding disc.

How do you adjust the angle of your snowboard bindings?

Depending on your riding style, you should set your snowboard bindings at different angles. Here are the recommended angles based on your riding style: Freestyle angles: +15° for the front foot and around -15° for the back foot. Note: This position can be difficult to get used to at first; we recommend gradually adjusting the rear foot position until you find the ideal -15° angle. This puts you in a duck stance, making it easier to ride switch. Freeride angles: Between 15° and 30° for the front foot. For the rear foot, a positive angle is recommended; however, if you don’t ride with a positive angle on the rear foot, a negative angle is advised. Riding at 0° on the rear foot has been discouraged for several years. A setback is recommended for better lift. All-Mountain Angles: +15° to 20° for the front foot and between -3° and -10° for the back foot. This setup will allow you to tackle all types of terrain. Beginner: +15° for the front foot and -15° for the back foot. This setup will help you get your bearings; once you’re comfortable, feel free to adjust the angles.

What is the average lifespan of Stone Snowboards Canada's snowboard bindings?

At Stone Snowboards Canada, we offer snowboard bindings of the highest quality. Their Duraflex-injected spoiler is the most durable option available on the market. Thanks to their plastic baseplate and Duraflex-injected reinforcement, our bindings provide exceptional comfort and durability. Above all, they are designed to last as long as possible. Snowboarders typically keep their bindings for 3 or 4 years.
