Learn more about accessories for snowboards and splitboards

Snowboard accessories from Stone Snowboards Canada

Like any serious snowboarder, you’re looking to round out your gear to ensure the best possible riding experience. Complete your setup with our selection of essential snowboard accessories to enhance your outings. Whether you prefer traditional snowboarding or splitboarding, we offer all the essential gear you need to set off on your mountain adventures.

Snowboard accessories

For our snowboarder friends, we offer a snowboard bag. An essential snowboard accessory, the snowboard bag will allow you to transport and protect your snowboard during your travels.

In addition, we recommend that you bring a screw kit. It may seem unnecessary, but having a screw kit with you on your outings is important, because you can never be sure you won’t lose one of these screws during a wild run. Without a replacement screw, this minor inconvenience will put an end to your day on the slopes.

So, be sure to bring a screw kit and a snowboard bag to fully enjoy your outing.

Splitboard accessories

For our friends who love splitboarding, we offer a selection of products to help you take care of your splitboard and make your ascent more comfortable.

You’ve gotten plenty of use out of your splitboard over the past two seasons, but the clips and hooks that hold your splitboard together as a snowboard are worn out—it’s time to replace them. This essential snowboard accessory is designed specifically for splitboards from Stone Snowboards Canada.

To make your climb to the snow-capped peaks easier, you’ll need these three essentials: climbing skins, telescoping poles, and crampons.

Skinning skins are required, and crampons will make your ascent much easier. With skinning skins, you’ll have optimal traction on the snow, which will prevent you from sliding backward.

As the slope gets steeper, you’ll need an extra piece of gear: crampons. These are metal plates that attach to the center of each section of your splitboard, underneath the bindings. They’ll give you extra traction and prevent you from slipping.

The final must-have accessory for your splitboarding trip is a hiking pole. Choose a lightweight telescoping pole that will easily fit in your backpack during the descent. These poles will be your best ally on the ascent. Check out our selection of lightweight, durable, high-quality poles.

Finally, once you’ve got all your gear, don’t forget to add your own personal touch. Express your style and creativity with our pack of stickers featuring wild designs. You can experiment with countless combinations to customize your board and hit the slopes in style.

There are as many snowboarding accessories as there are riding styles and techniques. Keep in mind that the only rule that matters is your comfort on the snow.

What are the must-have accessories for snowboarding and splitboarding?

To go snowboarding, you’ll need a board, bindings, a good pair of boots, and technical clothing. However, a few extra accessories can make all the difference on your trip. We therefore recommend that you always carry a repair kit with spare screws, a small screwdriver, and something to clean your goggles after a run through the powder. If you’re using a splitboard, having telescoping poles and climbing skins is essential. Ice axes can also ensure a safe and hassle-free ascent.

Are climbing skins compatible with all splitboards?

No, because climbing skins need to fit perfectly against the base of your splitboard (in ski touring mode), so they must be tailored to the shape of the board. That’s why we include climbing skins specifically designed for each splitboard in our splitboard packs. If you don’t have any yet or if yours are damaged, you can order (or reorder) them by selecting your splitboard model in the accessories section. A pair of skins wears out, so it’s perfectly normal to have to replace them eventually.

Is the Stone cover available on the website compatible with all snowboards and splitboards on the market?

The Stone Bag is compatible with all 166 cm snowboards and splitboards that have a pair of bindings installed. You can store accessories such as poles, climbing skins, gloves, and goggles inside. Our snowboard bag makes it easy to protect and transport your gear.
