The Topo has established itself over the years as a must-have model in the range and our best-selling splitboard. It's a reliable choice that we have continued to evolve without touching what makes it strong: a solid, precise, and reactive construction.
In splitboarding, stiffness is essential for maintaining good control, whether for accelerating out of turns or when the terrain becomes more technical. We have always prioritized a high-performance construction over overly flexible behavior. A splitboard must be able to withstand the demands of the mountains, particularly during transitions and in more challenging sections.
For this new version, we worked based on feedback from our Team and customers to further improve the Topo's performance. The integration of our Floorboard technology, in particular, increases the rigidity between the two parts of the split when assembled. An exclusive Stone Snowboards innovation, developed to offer an even closer feel to a traditional snowboard on descents.
Graphically, the Topo remains true to its identity with a design inspired by cartography and relief. American artist Ashlee Gillespie, renowned for her watercolor work and graphic universe, signs a decoration that is both understated and evocative.
With its directional shape and 5 cm setback, the Topo is naturally at ease in powder, with excellent float and great comfort. The setback of the rear foot allows for good control while fully enjoying deep snow conditions.
But the Topo is not limited to powder. On groomed trails or harder snow, it proves particularly effective in carving, especially thanks to its ability to accelerate well out of turns. Despite its freeride orientation, it remains versatile enough to ride switch.
Its performance distinguishes it from the Forest, Legalize, and Mighty. If you are looking for a splitboard more oriented towards powder and freeride, while retaining familiar sensations and good versatility, the Topo is an excellent choice.
The IS7200 base, mainly black, limits graphic cutouts to promote excellent glide and facilitate repairs in case of impact. The biaxial fiberglass on the topsheet provides reinforcement and resistance for long days in the mountains, while the densified Poplar/Paulownia core combines strength, responsiveness, and the ability to absorb terrain irregularities.
The Topo benefits from European manufacturing and is equipped with Stone Snowboards aluminum clips and hooks. It can also be offered with its custom-made Stone climbing skins. Discover it in a pack and enjoy additional discounts.
